Customer: Hoping to fix it myself. Haven't done anything yet, other than check the gas cap
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: Its been burning a lot of gas, even before the codes came up. But it runs fine

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. I'm Ron and I will be helping you today.

Both codes are EVAP codes, the second one is for a purge solenoid. You probably don't have a smoke machine to test the system for where the leak is, but that's what is need to locate the leak. for the first codes. The second code for the purge valve could mean the valve is bad or that's where it can be leaking, but the problem can also be a bad or leaky hose. that's where the machine comes in.

Thanks,

Ron
