Customer Question

2001 Lexus LS430 with 92,000 miles. VSC light goes on every time I put the car in motion, forward or reverse. Doesn't go on when I start it, only when I begin moving. Chime also goes off. Car runs great, gas mileage good, acceleration good.
JA: Do you happen to know the code? Have you tried to reset the computer?
Customer: Thanks, ***** *****ermann
JA: What is the model of your '01 Lexus?
Customer: My independent mechanic, not a Lexus dealer wrote out the code his scan produced. C1336 Yaw Rate Circuit Fault. Have not tried to reset computer. Had oxygen sensors replaced day before this light started appearing.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have no tools or knowledge to fix myself.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Don't believe so. I have read on various blogs that the yaw rate sensor needs recalibrating
