Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you.. Please identify the year of this RX350 and does the vehicle have rubber valve inflaters or shiny metal? thanks

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
2009 RX350. It had the shiny metal cap. Lost two of them, replaced with rubber valve 2 years with no issue (light is not on, until now)
Expert:  Toyota Service replied 1 year ago.

To clarify, the valve cores are all rubber. No metal touching the rim of the tire. This is important, as there are two different styles (the caps are not important). All rubber or all metal.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the part under the cap is all metal. is what you are asking?
Expert:  Toyota Service replied 1 year ago.

No. What I mean is the part that extends out of the rim.,..is it metal or rubber? Both have metal under the cap.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
just checked, it is all metal

Turn the engine switch to the ON position. Push & hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the tire pressure warning light blinks slowly three times.

Wait two minutes with the engine switch in the ON position, and then turn the engine switch OFF.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
did many times already. when i did "push & hold", nothing happened, with switch is ON position
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
how long do you think the HOLD needs to be? I have HOLD it for 3 minutes
Expert:  Toyota Service replied 1 year ago.

Hold it until the light blinks. then release.

Expert:  Toyota Service replied 1 year ago.

If that does not do anything you have a tire sensor that is faulty.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
how long in normal cases? the longer I hold was 3 minutes
Expert:  Toyota Service replied 1 year ago.

90 seconds to hold and blink

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
how much is the sense, and how do i know which one is broken?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
do you have the parts number of the sense?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i mean "sensor"
Expert:  Toyota Service replied 1 year ago.

42607-33021 might be the most current number; they change quite often. About 45-55 dollars depending on where you get it.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
hi, my friend, it says i 'must' give you a rating. it is hard for me because I don't give you bad rating, at same time, i didn't learn anything new
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
