You may have an issue with the drivers side air mix damper control servo, see attached picture, inspect this part while you adjust drivers side temperature from hot to cold and see if this moves( it is located near the gas pedal)also check to make sure the door lever didn't come disconnected from this part either.

Hello do you still need assistance with this issue?

I removed the Air Mix Damper Control Servomotor, it seems to be not working well. See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REbSQvlvdxoPart number screen printed: (###) ###-#### ***** 10E 4000Do you know where I can get an inexpensive replacement? I've Googled but come up short.

Only made by DENSO corporation, this is the brand that Toyota dealers sell. Check with your local aftermarket parts stores, some may have a vendor that can buy direct from DENSO, they my prove to be more expensive then dealer though.

AutoZone told me $119 over the phone yesterday, but I wasn't confident it was the right part, plus I thought I'd seen a mention of them being a little less than that.

If you do find a brand other then DENSO, I would not use it, DENSO parts are the only ones that work best with toyota and lexus.
