Was the system fully bled, as in all the air removed from the system?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
before did rack and pinion job, we always turn the wheel make sure there is no air came out. then the car put down the ground ready to road test. but this time. when the car put down the ground. steering wheel hard to turn. we just think the parts bad. replace another one. same problem. it seams air came out. is this have bled port ? some where mis out?

After rack is replaced you bled it correct?.....No just normal bleeding, turn wheel lock to lock and refill resivour, lock to lock then shut off for a few and recheck.

Is there any high pitched pump noise coming from the pump, like a whining noise? Is there any movement/swirling in the resivour that would show pump moving fluid?

Expert:  scionking replied 1 year ago.

Did you install clamps on the lines to stop fluid from coming out when replacing....perhaps a clamp was forgotten on?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no noise. seams fluid no flow.

there is no clamps. all the metal hoses connected

was the steering intermediate shaft installed correctly? Is it installed all the way? was it damaged during removal as in hit with a hammer to get it off? you may be looking at a physically bound steering intermediate shaft.
