i have a 1992 lexus ls400 v8,my exhaust has white smoke and smells like gas.
oil is fine no milky look, and antifreeze is good

do you have a fuel pressure gage to test fuel pressure?

yes i do have a fuel pressure gauge, do you want me to check fuel pressure, what is the psi i am looking for.

Hi,

Here are fuel pressure specs:

Fuel Pressure
Pressure 1 (PSI)		Pressure 2 (PSI)
Range	Note	Range	Note
28.0 - 34.0	Y191	38.0 - 44.0	Y192
Y191: System pressure with vacuum hose connected to fuel pressure regulator. Pressure measured at idle speed. Y192: System pressure with vacuum hose disconnected from fuel pressure regulator.

If fuel pressure is above specifications, replace the fuel pressure regulator. Also when you pull the vacuum hose to the pressure regulator for testing, if fuel is in the hose, replace the regulator.

If fuel pressure regulator is good, then you will have to pull the injectors and check each one for leaking, as well as spray a fan pattern and not just streaming straight down.
