1992 lexus: tail lights..brake lights work..wire harness..looks fine

my 1992 lexus ls 400 tail lights will not turn on for night driving, the fuse is good and the brake lights work fine. i checked the wire harness for kinks or brakes and it looks fine. can you help??

Thanks for your question. Sorry you're having car problems, I will do my best to research this and supply you with an accurate answer ASAP. This is most likely caused by the light switch that is incorporated in the multifunction switch in the steering column. It would need to be tested to confirm this. Hope this helps you. Thanks, Ron
