I signed a joint lease agreement (in the state of Indiana) listing my son (age 21; college student) did not want to live in the apartment. Since my son did not want to live in the apartment, I also did not want to live in the apartment. The leasing company said that both of us are liable for the full amount of the lease. Is this legally binding with only one tenant's signature? This is a "joint" lease. If only one person signs, how is it binding as a "joint" lease? I don't believe my son is liable. As for me, I signed it as a "joint" lease, if there is only one tenant's signature, to me, the "joint" lease agreement has not been executed. Therefore, I should not be liable either. The leasing company has pursued legal action against my son and I. My defense is that the joint lease agreement was not executed and therefore neither my son or I should be liable.

I just learned that AT&T restricts use of FaceTime over 3G to only those individuals who have the family data share plan or someone who pays for a data plan. It prohibits any user who was grandfathered into the unlimited data plan from using that function unless they are on WiFi. Is this something that would be covered in a class-action law suit?
