I have brother-in-law that was convicted of sex with a minor probably back in 1994 in VA. He has served his time and has been on probation for about a year now from child support charges. Today, without warning he was told he had to have a polygraph test. He answered the questions, but according to the examiner said he was taking too long to answer, but at the beginning they told him to take his time to answer the questions. The examiner stopped the test and his first probation officer came in telling him to stop taking so long to answer the questons. They put the polygraph on him tighter and asked the same questions differently and in which he answered opposite of the first time, then they stopped the testing and said they were issuing a warrant for his arrest. Do they have a right to arrest him and what is his right? By the way, the were video recording and stopped once the probation officer came in to yell at him.

I would like to know if a Felony diversion can be done with two counts of Promoting prostitution Class B felonies and one Gross Misdemeanor. My son Jonathan Noah Marschall is in Jail in Washington State-- Kitsap County Jail for promoting prostitution and has a similar charge in King County jail. He has learned from others that they sometimes can do a Global Resolution and then there is a Felony Diversion that might be possible. His lawyer says he cannot do this and he does not trust this lawyer well....mostly because he never shows when he says he is going to show up to speak with him. I am considering hiring a private attorney if it would help at all. You can read up mor eon his charges online of course. He has been in jail since 1/24/13

I am a 20 yr, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a small town, and small state. I am a board member and patient of a large community health organization. Prior to and after becoming a board member, I also accepted referrals from them (mostly due to the area being quite rural). This worked well until last summer when I realized and then confirmed that my nurse practioner was no longer referring. There was no reason I knew of, but I had other sources and excellent word of mouth clients. I last saw this hcp in late December and shared with her that I was looking to leave my relationship of 15 years and that the logistics were stressful. She was very rude from the outs et and things didn't improve. I left her office puzzled and with the intention of replacing her. Over the past three months my practice has gone down abt 80%.... Three weeks ago a former client called to ask if I was ok? Apparently she had seen this same nurse practioner and mentioned she was going to stop in and make an appt. The NP then told her that I was "going through a rough time." Our patient then asked her if I was sick? The NP replied "no she's having personal problems" I reported it to the privacy officer of the company (remember I am a board member) and they are investigating. The client was willing to give a statement. I don't think I can salvage my practice, I am behind on most bills at this point and will be starting a part-time agency job next month. My questions are:
1. Is the company obligated to report this to OCR? They receive federal money.
2. Will this be a topic at board meetings, should I resign?
3. How do I get an attorney to return my calls?
