Ok, I went back to court and submitted a trial brief / motion for the court to reconsider my cross motion for summary judgment intra ala. The judge set the matter down for trial for March 25th. I reminded him that the petitioner never complied with the court order for discovery. He said nothing. I am thinking I need to file a motion for contempt of court (civil L&T) requesting the court for adverse inference towards any documents the Petitioner failed to submit. I do not know what the CPLR(s) or other applicable statute would be for filing this motion and the generic language of such. Please advise.

Hi, I am currently an owner of a small metal product distribution business, located in Illinois. I have 3 employees. However, I am looking at selling more complicated metal products that my current inside sales staff does not have the ability to sell. I am the only outside salesman for my current company. Therefore, instead of going through my current company, I am looking into becoming an "independent contractor" for another company, located in Michigan, not associated with my current company, but sells a full range of more complicated metal products. They have an experienced inside sales staff and know their business already. They and I have come to an agreement where I will go ahead and make sales calls for my current company and hand out my business card and material as always. Additionally, during my visits to my potential/ current customers, I will have another business card, with their company information and my name on the card, as Sales Representative (as an independent contractor). I will only receive commissions upon payment on product that is sold. They will not pay for any of my expenses, other than product literature. This other company is wanting information about my current
company, like Workman's Comp, Car Insurance, etc. Plus, they want to sign an "Independent Contractors Agreement" and a "Not hold liable agreement" for my own insurance purposes (of which, I do have health and car insurance already).
I want to keep this as simple and cheap as possible. From what I have researched so far, it seems all I want to do is become a sole proprietor. What do I need to do to do this easily?

my nieghbor has taken no trespassing signs to new hieghts. our rear yard is beutifull and our nieghbor has decided to install no trespassing signs . which is there rights.But when does it become excessive. there sighns are aprox. 10inches by twelve inches and very bright yellow. they are posted aprox. every 4 feet even with additional sighn staggered behind those. they have become a eye sore and have have ruined the view of our yard.
