Tennessee prosecutes this kind of matter under their harassment statute. YOu can see that here.
As you can see it is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by a maximum jail term of 11 months and 29 days in jail and/or a $2,500 fine. Was he incarcerated or on probation or parole because of the molestation when he posted this about you? If so, it could rise to the level of a felony matter.

Right. Looked like a misdemeanor to me absent any special circumstances. However, making an accusation is not a threat. He could sue you but couldn't prosecute you for the threats.
Typically, these matter usually come down to a misdemeanor, probation, fine and a protective order in favor of the complainant.
If you pled to the charge, it would be a class A misdemeanor. If you got probation, it would show as a conviction and a sentence to probation. You should go to court with a lawyer. He may be able to do better than that for you depending upon what happens in court. Otherwise, if you can't afford one, plead not guilty and ask the court for a public defender.
