Defendant's employer was issued a garnishment summons in in

Customer Question

Defendant's employer was issued a garnishment summons in Virginia in July 16. The employer responded in July 16 the defendant did not make enough to garnish. The return to court date is Jan 17. During the holidays the defendant picked up near full time hours and thus later became eligible for garnishment. Does the employer have to update their response for the Jan 17 court date? Are the defendants holiday wages reachable?

You do not need to supplement now. If issued a new garnishment, you would answer as point of receipt

Is that clear and acceptable?
