Customer Question

I want to renew my Texas drivers license but I have warrants. (All traffic related, all misdemeanors). Texasfailuretoappear.com says I am good but I just want to make sure I am not going to get arrested.
JA: Since laws vary from place to place, what state is this in? And when was the warrant issued?
Customer: Texas. And my last warrant was 2002 I believe
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: As in had I received notice...yes...but a long time ago
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: Yes. I had several payment plans set up. Ashamedly so, I have never followed through.

They do not check you for warrants here. You will need to produce drivers license and proof of insurance.

You may be able to renew it online here and then you have no worries

Either way you should be fine to renew this.
