I found my attorney cooperated with the other side recently

Customer Question

I found my attorney cooperated with the other side recently through another lawsuit . When is the statute of limitation (SOL) on filing a complaint with the attorney on the serious fraud? How the SOL time frame is counted from when to when?
JA: What are the exact charges, and where does the matter stand as of now?
Customer: He intentionally helped other side to release the illegal drug charge which almost killed me and he took advantage of me due to no knowing the law.
JA: Because laws vary based on location, what state are you in?
Customer: California
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have a lot of the stuff to say. I need time to prepare before I can report to you.

What exactly did the lawyer do that you consider to be improper cooperating?

Expert:  Dwayne B. replied 22 days ago.

You can take your time to prepare a response to my question.

The statute of limitations in CA for attorney malpractice is one year but it can be extended for up to 4 years if the lawyer somehow hid the malpractice.

And it would be a year from the date the attorney committed the malpractice.
