Customer Question

Our company is being sued by a shipping provider for past due bills. We used this company for approx. 1 year. We ended our relationship earlier this year due to excessive damage to our products, non-payment of damage claims and overbilling. We attempted to work with the provider regarding these issues and actullay got them to agree to a $7000 credit. Howerver, the credit was never applied and we were immediately sent to collections.
My question is I am not sure how to answer the summons.

Is there anything in writing evidencing the settlement credit? Was the settlement amount ever paid?
