When reporters talk about Hillary's supreme court

Customer Question

When reporters talk about Hillary's supreme court appointments, up to four, why don't they mention that they serve for life? Which means that long after Hillary is dead and gone they will be gelding any attempt to correct the liberal/progressive legislation.***@******.***.
JA: Since estate law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: Virginia
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: No
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Thank you for your question.

Article 3 Section 1 of the US Constitution provides that all federal judges are appointed for life provided they maintain "good behavior", see

https://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution/articleiii

so the reporters apparently assume that everyone knows that, and that is probably why they do not mention it very often.

I hope this information is helpful.
