Ask a Lawyer and Get Answers to Your Legal Questions
Good afternoon Debbie,I'm Doug, and I'm very sorry for your loss. My goal is to provide you with excellent service today.
If the estate has been distributed and the creditors of the estate no paid, then the persons who received cash or assets from the estate are legally obligated to pay the creditors. Failure to do so will open the heirs who did receive cash or assets to being sued personally by the creditors for the money owed by the estate.

If I have already provided you with the information you asked for and you have no additional questions, would you please now rate my service to you so I can be compensated for assisting you? Thanks in advance,Doug
