Can a private school in California force a students parent

Customer Question

Can a private school in California force a students parent to car pool or for a fee, force the child to take a school bus?

This is Samuel. No one can be "forced" to car pool anywhere. However, if it is a private school, they can charge a fee for school bus transportation. It is not mandated that a private school provide transportation for the child like a public school is legally mandated to do.
