Customer Question

I live in Texas. In 2010, I had a care repo'd. A couple of months ago, Stoneleigh Recovery Associates told me I still owed money on the car, and convinced me to set up a payment plan with them... I have now made three payments of $75. Did I, by doing this re-start the statute of limitations (4 years, in Texas) and can I now be sued for the next four years if I don't keep paying???

In a sense if you signed up to a new agreement in the payment plan. This did essentially restart the statute of limitations clock unfortunately.
