Hi - my name is ***** ***** I'll be glad to assist.

It is possible to get into the Navy with a criminal record, but if he is charged with a felony, receiving a waiver to be able to enlist is rare. Here's a good link you can read: http://usmilitary.about.com/od/navyjoin/a/navcrime.htm

So, if he is charged with a crime, but not convicted, it shouldn't cause him any trouble. However, if he is convicted, it could be very difficult for him.
