I made an agreement with a collection agency about two years

Customer Question

I made an agreement with a collection agency about two years ago to deduct $50.00 a month out of my checking account. They deducted money for several months and then quit withdrawing the money. This was about September of 2014 that the withdraws stopped. I got a letter last week that I haven't made any payment since January 2015. This has been the first contact since the withdraw payment stopped. I owe about $14,863 with interest included. And I didn't do anything to cause the withdraws to stop. What are my options?

Good afternoon. Have you spoken with them about the stopped payments and why they did this?
