Ask a Lawyer and Get Answers to Your Legal Questions
I'm Lucy, and I'd be happy to answer your questions today. I'm sorry to hear about your situation.
It is unfortunately a violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct to accept a divorce case on a contingency-fee basis. See Rule 1.5(c)-(d) (pages 11-12 of the pdf). While I'm sure there are many local attorneys who would be happy to take your case at their usual hourly rate, and you may find some who will work for a flat fee, what you are requesting cannot legally be accomplished. I didn't want you to have to continue waiting for an answer, we unfortunately are not able to help you find what you're looking for.
A good place to look for a lawyer who can take your case using some other fee structure is www.martindale.com.
I apologize that this was probably not the Answer you were hoping to receive. However, it would be unfair to you and unprofessional of me were I to provide you with anything less than truthful and honest information. I hope you understand.Good luck.
