I board my pregnant mare and although I signed a boarding

Customer Question

I board my pregnant mare and although I signed a boarding contract stating the owner of the barn shall not be held liable ( even if she is at fault) for any injury or death to either mare or foal, she believes that this contract is not enough and a different format needs to be in place. Can you please help me with this. Owner wants me to move my horse one month before and after she gives bith. I do not want to do this. Thank you. Lea

Hi Lea,

I'm Lucy, and I'd be happy to answer your questions today.

Is the contract you have for a set term? Is she trying to move you to another place of hers, or is she asking to cancel the entire contract? Is she citing any basis in the contract for asking you to leave?
