per diem charges for infusion drugs and SUPPLIES are overcharged to medicare, insur ance companies and individual patients. Is this practice legal??

Unfortunately, if you are being charged for services rendered or products provided, that is not illegal. The market determines the amount these pharmacies can charge for their products and services. They would charge as high an amount that the market can bear, regrettably.
