Customer Question

I am a senior and I have Medicaid. They just decided that I will have a spend down of $660 from my $1,030 a month for prescriptions. If I don't pay that amount in prescriptions a month I will lose Medicaid for that month. That is almost 3/4 of my income.
It is bad enough that our food stamps were decreased to an average of $16 a month. That is to recipients in an apartment that heat is included in the rent.
I just don't know what to do. Do I use my money on medicine or on food? This is happening to citizens in Michigan and maybe in other states. Is there a solution?
Any advice from you is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time in this matter.
Sincerely,
