You would need to file a complaint in the Supreme Court for Queens County New York and have it served on your business partner.
The complaint would need to detail each and every cause of action that you have against your friend, but you need not include supporting documentation with the initial complaint.
After you serve the complaint, your business partner will be required to answer the complaint.
At that point, you can make a motion for summary judgment
or request to proceed through to trial.
