Thank you for your question. Please permit me to assist you this evening. That very much depends. Do you know where the company is based from, from what state I mean? How much in damages were you exposed to?
Commerce City, Colorado. I would say at least 2000 - 3000
Thank you for your follow-up. Here are some of the options that are available to you:1. You can contact the Attorney General's office in the state where you reside OR in the state where they are based from. The AG's office, specifically their office on consumer protection, can investigate them for violations and potentially pursue them for damages. This is the free option but it may take a bit of time to get done.2. You can als file suit in small claims court for your losses. You can either file in the state where you have residency (which is the state you just left), or in the state where they are located in for your losses. This permits you to self-represent and pursue them for losses. If you prevail, you can pursue them for court costs.3. You can also contact the Better Business Bureau and pursue them via the BBB. This is the least like option to work as the BBB is not an agency with real enforcement power, but it is a legitimate option to consider while you pursue the first two options concurrently.Good luck.
