If a state statute allows a plaintiff to collect punitive damages

This answer was rated:

If a state statute allows a plaintiff to collect punitive damages for defendant's bad faith actions, can a plaintiff add the bad faith claim when it sues the defendant in conciliation court? Or is the plaintiff not allowed to claim such punitive damages in conciliation court?

In general, yes, a plaintiff can sue for punitive damages in small claims or conciliatory court. (The amount will be set by the Court in the event you are successful in your statutory claim for liability).
