A convicted criminal for theft - soon to have his probation

Customer Question

A convicted criminal for theft - soon to have his probation revoked for failing to make his monthly payments though the Court, lives in a 5-bedroom house that sits on a very large estate in rural kansas.
Questions:
Does the Homestead Protection Act covers convicted criminals?
How can it be?
We tried to list the house for sale: He is truant on all the taxes related to his property, including his mortgage.
How long can this go on? When does the state/the bank force him out and recover the property?

Hello there --

-

Does he work for a living ? Any tax returns or bank accounts that you are aware of?

-

Can you give me a bit of information regarding what your lawsuit was about?
