In a case involving a Juvenile, were abuse is alleged. At the first hearing within 72 hours prior to the hearing proceeding and if a parent is there, Does the court have to ask if that parent has legal counsel or needs legal counsel by court appointed Attorney, prior to the hearing starting??? I was not ask if I had or needed legal counsel until the end of the hearing.
