Can an attorney have law enforcement request cell phone records

This answer was rated:

Can an attorney have law enforcement request cell phone records in a civil case?
No. There's no provision for an attorney to use law enforcement resources for civil discovery purposes.

A private investigator may be able to accomplish this goal, but it would not be admissible in court. The only way to make the records admissible would be to subpoena them from wireless provider.

Hope this helps.
