Hello,

In which state jurisdiction is the court?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

California civil case from 1984

A California judgment is only enforceable for 10 years, unless it is renewed before its 10th anniversary. If you check the court file and there is not at least two renewals, then the judgment is unenforceable, and you are free of it forever.

Hope this helps.

I can't communicate with you except via the website's interface. Sorry, not txt's are allowed.

That said, the Civil Docket summary code "rescinded" is a nonstandard code (the numbers represent the case number). I can only speculate that the code means the judgment was extinguished due to its expiration after 10 years.

Concerning telling whether or not the judgment was renewed, you can call the court civil clerk desk, and just ask if the judgment has expired or whether it is marked renewed.

Thanks for your kind words. Best wishes.
