can tx workforce commission collect a check from lost and found state of tx?

What do you mean by "lost and found" state of Texas?

Also, is the TWC looking for payment from you?

yes

Ok, so what do you mean by the "lost and found"?

Are you referring to the unclaimed property division? see: http://www.window.state.tx.us/up/

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

the check they took was from a lost money in the state of tx ,including a paycheck from my last employee. I claimed the money. All I rec was a ceceipt and a bill for $3000.00. I did not donate any of the money.I don`t

know how they knew I was rec money.

I see. Unfortunately, the money that was in the "unclaimed property" division is in the possession of the Texas Comptroler. When money is owed by you to TWC, they have a lien on any asset that is in the state's possession. That would give them the authority under the law to take the money and send you a receipt.
