Hi

Sam :

If you cannot show a receipt for the goods you would have to show how you put the item back on the shelf/rack, etc

Sam :

Yes, they can charge you with theft based on a video which is considered evidence based on survellianccce

Sam :

Keep in mind, that you do not have to talk to anyone without a local attorney present.

Customer:

i am on federal probation will this revoke my probation or is that up to my po....the state says it will be petit larceny 100 fine

Sam :

Hi

Sam :

I am sorry to hear this. It is possible your probation would be revoked. It is up to your PO, however. And will depend on how long you have been on probation without incident and how long you have left

Sam :

But you will have to report a new charge to your PO

Sam :

It is always best to give them the information. You dont want your PO to find it out on their own
