I HAVE A SALES REP AGREEMENT WITH A COMPANY THAT WAS BOUGHT

This answer was rated:

I HAVE A SALES REP AGREEMENT WITH A COMPANY THAT WAS BOUGHT OUT BY ANOTHER COMPANY.
IS THAT ORIGINAL CONTRACT STILL VALID? THE COMPANY NAME HAS NOT CHANGED.
Hi,

Thank you for your answer. The new owner is incorrect. The transfer of ownership of a company does not extinguish the contractual obligations of that company.

Please let me know if you need more information.
