Can a minor be a director of a 501c3 in California? I only saw where is said if you want to specify over 18 yrs in am I right that minor is allowed?

Thank you for your question.

A minor cannot be a director in a 501c3 organization (or any company for that matter) because a minor cannot form a contract under California law without specific court approval. A corporate director has to be able to execute corporate documents, which is not something that a minor can do, as it would not be binding.
