I am a 46 year old male, and if an 18 year old male would want to meet me in North Carolina, would that be unlawful and or breaking any laws. This hasn't happened. And I haven't emailed this person as of yet. I am just curious and want to abide by the law. Please let me know? This younger person might want to experiment with an older person sexually. What advice would you have for me?

Welcome and thank you for your question! Please clarify: are you the teacher, coach, family member, employer, or supervisor of the 18-year-old?
I do not know the person in any way. Just saw his profile online. He mentioned that he wanted to hang out with an older 'daddy' type to talk about things and to show him the ropes, so to speak. I honestly, don't
want to cross the line.
Will any money be exchanged?
Not in anyway, that isn't what I am looking for and if he is or would be in any way he wouldn't be able to meet me. That is something I would not be interested in. I will never pay for any meeting of any kind.
But, what if he asks me for 'gas' money and then turns around and says it was for payment. Just curious.
I would tell me I only have credit cards and NO cash.
So long as it is consensual and no money or payment is exchanged in any fashion, there's no problem. If he asks for money, understand, he may be working with undercover cops and it could be a sting. It has been my pleasure to assist you today with your information needs. You also need to check his driver license to make sure he's over 18 so you don't get stung with rape charges. Yes, people lie about their age.~~ J.B.
