Optional Information: Country relating to Question: United StatesState (if USA): MarylandWhat have you tried so far?: My friends lawyer claims he can't file suit because he doesn't the persons address and that the insurance won't release information because of that person's right to privacy eventhough they acknowlege the person was involved in the Car Accident
Thank you for posting your question to JA/Pearl. Legal questions often take time for research or I may be offline so please be patient, I will reply.Did this person own the car? I am not sure why you know the insurance information but not the persons address. Please clarify.
1. Yes the person did own the car.
2. The people involved in the Accident exchanged insurance information however the plaintiff or potential plaintiff misplaced the contact information.
In that event you should be able to obtain the address from the tax assessors office since they have paid taxes on that vehicle.
