My car was hit while parked by a young girl who was driving insured vehicale. I don't know who was the insured person. My damage is $433 after $500 deductible. Insurance of the person who cause the Accident informed me that if the the girl wasn't on the e.g mothers policy they will not cover my claim. It is hard to believe that this is right. Please advice if you can.Thank you.

If the person was not covered on the insurance, they do not have to cover the damages and in that case you have the right to file suit in Small Claims court against both the parent who owned the car and the driver of the car and they are jointly liable and if they do not pay the judgment, then you can file that judgment with the DMV who will suspend the registration on the vehicle and the drivers license of the driver and the owner.
