I was approach by a police officer and he stated that the police cheif was sent a email regarding me telling kids i will shot them but as i stated to the officer no one has ever seen me with a gun but they know i do have a conceal weapons permit. i was not arrested or charge with anything. How should i treat this situation.

He could if he wanted to -- in the sense that there's no law that prohibits it from happening.
