If a person is admitted to the emergency room is the entire stay considered an emergency until he/she can be discharged or safely moved?
Optional Information: Country relating to Question: United States State (if USA): California Already Tried: A lot. More than what I can type here.
The stay is part of the emergency room procedure, until the patient is medically stable, and can be either released or admitted into the general hospital population -- even if that population is the ICU. Hope this helps. NOTICE: My goal here is to entertain while educating the public about the law. I hope my answer is useful and informative to you.
