Resolved Question:

I would like to start an alcohol delivery service here in my city of visalia,california. Im not sure what kind of alcohol license I would need. I would not be serving any opened or "on tap" alcohol only alcohol that is sealed and/or boxed. My concept is to have a purely a delivery business for that.

does not seem to contain any regulation of delivery services other than the general requirement to obtain a business tax certificate, see

I would still need an alcohol license to purchase the alcohol from a vendor though i believe. Also wouldnt i need to register with the tobacco and alcohol beau ?

I thought you indicated that you are not reselling any alcohol, that you just want to run a delivery company. Please clarify.

I would purchase alcohol from a "distributor" and run a website which people would go onto and place a order which I would then deliver to their front doors. I will have alcohol inventory in my possession. The bottles and boxes will be sealed I will only be selling it as a delivery service. I will not be battening or making mixed drinks only reselling alcohol for profit in closed "sealed" boxes/bottles

I'm sorry I misunderstood the business model.

"Any person wishing to obtain an alcoholic beverage license should apply at the nearest office of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control"
