Hello, I also have a question about roofing contractors not holding the guarantee on my roof which started leaking a year after the new roof was installed. My insurance company gave me money to fix the roof, but it was not a good fix and it still leaks. Do I need to sue Home Depot about this situation?
Already Tried: Calling the customer service for roofing talking to a roofing contractor send to my house who said he would not fix the problem even though shoddy workmanship was obviously seen.
Welcome and thank you for your question!I am sorry to learn of these circumstances. Please clarify:1. How much will it cost to make the necessary repairs?2. What state are you located in?
Thank you for your help. I do not see any stars to click on.

Thank you. Then you can sue the contractors who installed the faulty roof in Small Claims court. In Florida, disputes that are under $5,000 can be filed and handled in small claims court. You can learn more about the Florida small claims court process at: http://www.flcourts.org/gen_public/family/self_help/smallclaims.shtmlIt has been my pleasure to assist you today with your information needs.
