I am a resident of a cooperative, 55 mfg home community. We have been told that FL statutes state that an executive officer of the board must be in the community at all times, meaning that if the president is not here during this time of year, the vice president must be here. Is that true?
That is not correct. The entire board could be on vacation coincidentally. There is nothing in the statutes requiring an executive officer or board member must be present at all times.
