I recieved a letter from the court stating there is a hearing tomorrow requested by my ex wife. She is the guardian of my special needs 20 yr old son and is requesting the Authorization to Act on his behalf to bring another case (3 of 3) ogainst me for lifetime child support. Do I have to attend and miss work from 1 of the two jobs i have secured to pay court fees from the most recent case?!
Optional Information: Country relating to Question: United States State (if USA): Florida Already Tried: Nothing..logged on earlier today but had to logg off as I was at work....
Hello and thank you for the question. I am sorry to read of this dilemma. You would need to attend unless excused from it. Court may permit attendance by phone conference. This needs to be arranged in advance of the hearing.
