My attorney signed a agreement without my knowledge, accepted payment$$15k from the trustee, then avoided all contact for 60 days which enabled the trustee to file the paperwork. I wrote a letter of demand for this estate inventory which was never complied with. If he accepted a settlement without your approval or acceptance, this would be malpractice and you would need to consider filing a malpractice claim with the state bar office of disciplinary counsel against him.
