if i am a authorized user on a small business debit card and I used that card to make purchases after my termination but not before the card was deactivated am I legally in trouble?

yes offered to pay the bill but their was some confusion as to whether i was actually terminated and just still being used part time. i was told by a text message that did not state i was terminated just that it wasnt working out but they might use me in the future
Ok. Thanks for the clarification. That set of facts makes things much brighter for you. If there is confusion over whether you were terminated or remaining on in some capacity, then you would simply claim that you were under the impression that you were still authorized to use the card. Further, if you've offered to pay it back, it would seem that you have taken all possible steps to resolve the issue.
