I know someone who was arrested for possesion of Sch II drugs in January 2012. She was given the opportunity for Pre-Trail Intervention Program. She was pulled over the other day for an expired inspection sticker and they said there was a bench warrent out for her from 2009. How could this have not shown up and does this kick her out of the program ?
Country relating to Question: United States
State (if USA): Louisiana
nothing.....I don't wont her to get kicked out of the program..so I'm scared to tell them.
HiWhat happened when she was pulled over? Was she just told of the warrant? She was not arrested?
yes, she was arrested again. I just can't believe something from 2009 would not have shown up in 2012 ??
HiYeah. It should have been on the radar. Someone missed it. I suggest she try to get the warrant quashed. It's an old matter. If she can get it quashed, then she will not have to leave the program. I suggest you can contact the DA since the pre trial was their Plea Bargain and see what they can do to help quash the bench warrant.
