Hello my name isXXXXX was wondering if i could sue a pediatric doctor for malpractice. My son was 2 almost 3 months old and the ped who saw him forced his foreskin to completely retract and could not get it to come back over the head of the penis for sometime well now my 18 month old son has to have a circumsion due to his foreskin narrowing and adhesions on the head of his penis
Hello and thank you for the question. I am sorry to read of this dilemma.
Have you conferred with other doctors and pediatricians?
have they agreed the manner of the care was subpar and dangerous?
yes i have seen a specialist about this problem and it was confirmed that the forced retraction is what caused the adhesions and narrowing
do you have an estimate of medical expenses?
incurred and to be incurred to deal with that misconduct and malpractice?
its paid for through insurance
Still you can pursue a claim to the extent of the premiums, the emotional harm, and any uncured bodily harm
Often a contingency based lawyer will pursue it for you
and seek to settle with his malpractice insurer
or pursue a civil claim
Let me know if I can clarify anything for you
I hope the answer is fast and clear.
