I am afraid that the courts in CA will approve an online program only in rare instances and then only for those who are out of state residents. This school is considered part of the punishment for getting a DUI and they do not go out of their way to make it easy for offenders or convenient for them or their schedules. The only possible recourse you have here is to file a motion in court and present some hardship sufficient to convince the court to approve an online program for you, but without court approval you cannot just take an online class.
